Art Deco

For the latest project in my fashion presentation techniques class we were asked to choose a theme from which we would build a coordinating color scheme, fabrics, designs, and the likes. But before I could get a word in edgewise, the art deco theme was called for, pulled out from under me. Had I managed to speak up, my mood board would have been covered in Prada prints and chunky architectural jewelry.

This is one of the most creatively witty editorials I've seen in a long time, I always enjoy a good dose of clever cultural references.

After seeing this editorial from Grazia Germany, I now feel inspired to snatch up every floaty white dress I see. Regardless of how much I love life in the city, I've always dreamed of frolicking through expansive fields of gold in white dresses with flowers in my hair. Then again, don't we all?
